Beast Mode..... holy crap. It sounds like reversed Horde mode, where you play as the Locusts: tickers, wretches, Boomers, and..... Beserkers??

I'll be able to jump on for a while, we'll at least roll some Horde.

Do. Not. Like. That much frustration should not happen as the result of a video game. Also, it makes me hate all of you. Hate. Yes, I drank the Haterade. :furious:

I did like Doug's Alabama Shim Sham.

Sorry man, you I thought you had a good stats night.

That was the first EPIC night in a loooong looooong time. I was on the losing team for most of the night, but the highlights made up for it:

Simultaneous head shot. (Doug and I had each other in our sites and pulled the trigger at the same time).

Headshotting everyone on the other team to win the match.

Watching (monster) Doug in the ghost cam trying to shoot another monster with the torque with no success, and then the last member of the opposing (Cog) team accidentally steps in front of him just as he's firing and gets torqued. Awesome accidental win.

I shouldn't post angry. ;-)

Just too much about this game is rubbing me the wrong way - I need an attitude adjustment. I'm never one of the "good" players, so whatever it is I was enjoying about this previously has gone missing.

I was this Cog. If the goddamn shotgun worked like it was supposed to I would have cut him off at the knees. It was still hysterical.

I know where you're coming from. I get that, but not from Gears. It's a very different mental game than CoD.

Highlight: I had a couple of reeeeaally nice torque bow and sniper shots both from long distance and from sneaky angles.
Lowlight: Getting killed on several occasions because I took a second to stand still in the open. Dumb dumb dumb.

Viva Tuesday!

oh yeah...im a bit rusty with the highlights and lowlights...
Ahem

Highlights: Killing Genji and Nathaniel (i think) ftw. I haven't been that pumped since.....well since the old gears days. Tons of close games and draws. The Alabama shim-sham was soooooofunny. We were watching doug take aim then (flynnjr pops up like a prairie dog and eats the arrow. Sooo funny.

Lowlights: Mike's hard lemonade. (wink wink)

At least now we know why they call it that.

Last night was about as close to EPIC as we've seen in a long time. Still waiting for that, "Everyone's drunk and we don't care and play until 2:00 am" which I haven't done since 2007.

Highlights: The double/simultaneous headshots with StillMONEYtron. Couldn't believe it but was pleased with my kill and subsequent death. Also got Mike in the first game I think when he was running away from me and rolling and I had the sniper and got him right as he stood up. It was pretty f'ing lucky but looked sweet and my main man Daniel saw it so I thought it was cool.

The AShSh (Alamabama Shim-Sham) was clearly the highlight of the night. I was doing everything I could to shoot my own teammate when Mike obliged me by coming straight at me and opening his mouth. I deposited my arrow and he loved it. As soon as I shot it yelled, "And that's how I roll!" Good times.

Lowlights: J Pus Pus thinks he's the worst player but he's actually not. I was so by far the first dead guy all night long it wasn't even funny which make my kills both entertaining and ironic. I imagine it's like losing to the Orioles. I can't tell you how many times I was just standing in the open and got chainsawed or shot or boomed or pick your death. I got it. And loved it. Viva la Gears. I don't believe I ever heard the little susie reference last night. A bit disappointing.

BTW - I was the teammate Duggie was trying to kill. Just want my small part in history acknowledged.

Thanks Assface, you're sweet. I hate this game right now, but I will muddle through, unlike you, who has either not unwrapped or more likely sold his copy of Modern Warfare 2.
